At NOTI Marketplace, we value your satisfaction and understand that sometimes you may need to cancel an order.
This policy explains how order cancellations are handled for both customers and sellers across Tanzania.
1. When You Can Cancel an Order
Customers can cancel an order before it has been processed or shipped.
You can request a cancellation if:
- Your order is still pending confirmation or processing.
- The seller has not yet dispatched the item.
- The order was placed by mistake (e.g., wrong quantity or address).
Once an order has been shipped or marked as “Out for Delivery,” it cannot be canceled, but you may still request a return or refund (see Return Policy).
2. How to Request a Cancellation
To cancel an order:
- Log into your NOTI account
- Go to My Orders
- Select the order you wish to cancel
- Click Cancel Order or contact Customer Support

Our team will confirm the cancellation and notify the seller immediately.
3. Seller Cancellations
A seller may cancel an order if:
- The product is out of stock
- There is an error in pricing or listing
- The delivery location is outside their service area
In such cases, you’ll be notified immediately, and a full refund will be issued if you had already paid.
4. Refunds After Cancellation
If payment was made before cancellation:
- Refunds will be processed within 3–7 business days.
- Refunds are made via the same method used for payment (mobile money, card, or bank transfer).
- In the case of Pay-on-Delivery, no charges apply if the order is canceled before dispatch.
5. Non-Cancellable Orders
Orders cannot be canceled once:
- The seller has dispatched the item.
- The item is custom-made or personalized.
- The product is part of a limited-time sale or flash offer that specifies “No Cancellation.”
6. Order Modifications
If you wish to change your order (e.g., quantity, color, or delivery address), please contact us as soon as possible.
Minor updates can be made before dispatch at the seller’s discretion.
